About the Role We are seeking an experienced Serverless Developer with expertise in AWS Lambda and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with AWS services and strong skills in building efficient code. The role involves working with modern cloud-native architectures and collaborating to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable serverless applications using modern cloud-native architectures
• Develop and maintain efficient, testable, and reusable code
• Build serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Collaborate with teams to achieve success
• Work with AWS services to design and develop applications
• Participate in building event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming
• Contribute to testing frameworks and TDD/BDD practices
• Debug and performance tune applications
• Work in US shift (06:30 PM to 3:30 AM)

Requirements

• Have 6-9 years of experience in backend development
• Have 3+ years of experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda
• Possess strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
• Have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CDK, Serverless Framework, or Terraform
• Have deep knowledge of AWS ecosystem (API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, IAM, etc.)
• Understand RESTful API design and best practices
• Be familiar with event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming
• Have experience with testing frameworks and TDD/BDD practices

Good to Have

• Have experience with Graph QL (e.g., AWS AppSync)
• Have knowledge of containers and ECS/Fargate
• Have experience working in Agile environments
• Hold AWS Certification (e.g., Developer Associate, Solutions Architect)
• Be familiar with observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Honeycomb
