About the Role We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow EAM Developer to design, configure, and enhance solutions on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on enabling full asset lifecycle management. The role involves working closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow development and asset lifecycle management. The goal is to support asset lifecycle processes and ensure alignment across EAM, ITAM, ITSM, and related modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize ServiceNow EAM modules to support asset lifecycle processes.
- Develop workflows, forms, UI components, scripts, integrations, and automations using JavaScript and GlideScript.
- Optimize and manage inventory operations including stock rules, warehouse tracking, replenishment, and asset assignment.
- Configure CMDB and Asset Management tables ensuring alignment across EAM, ITAM, ITSM, and related modules.
- Integrate ServiceNow EAM with external systems via APIs.
- Lead unit testing, support UAT, and maintain solution quality and performance.
- Maintain technical documentation and configuration inventory for all developed features.
- Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and EAM feature upgrades.
Requirements
- Have 5–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including scripting, workflows, API integrations, and configuration of core modules.
- Possess strong knowledge of ServiceNow Asset Management, CMDB, and ideally Enterprise Asset Management processes.
- Have strong experience with REST/SOAP integrations and working with JSON/XML data formats.
- Understand asset lifecycle management, maintenance operations, and inventory processes.
- Have knowledge of ITIL and IT service management frameworks.
- Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Have experience collaborating with project managers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Good to Have
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Be a ServiceNow ITAM/ITOM/CMDB Certified Implementation Specialist.
- Hold ServiceNow CSA / CAD certification.
