About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Backend Engineer with strong expertise in NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB, to design, develop, and lead scalable backend systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using modern architectures
• Lead backend development efforts and mentor junior developers
• Design and implement NoSQL data models using MongoDB
• Optimize MongoDB queries, aggregations, and performance tuning for large-scale applications
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based systems
• Ensure efficient handling of unstructured and semi-structured data
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless delivery
• Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Handle production issues, debugging, and root cause analysis
• Implement security, data consistency, and data protection best practices
• Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and database strategy

Requirements

• Develop backend applications using Node.js / Java / Python
• Design and implement NoSQL data models using MongoDB
• Optimize MongoDB performance using indexing and aggregation framework
• Understand NoSQL database concepts, including schema-less design and horizontal scaling
• Design RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Work with distributed systems and scalable architectures
• Utilize cloud platforms like AWS / Azure / GCP
• Use version control tools like Git
• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
