About the Role The Business Analyst role requires a strong understanding of the payment domain, with a focus on delivering and ensuring business requirements are captured and documented. The role involves working closely with the product owner and user community to analyze requirements and provide requirement elicitation to the development team. Success in this role means being able to identify and resolve production issues proactively, while also contributing to the development of payment products.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and ensure business requirements are captured and documented in the form of BRD or FSD and updated in JIRA.
• Engage with the product owner and user community to analyze requirements, slice them, and agree on acceptance criteria.
• Provide requirement elicitation to the development team.
• Prepare and execute test cases along with requirement implementation.
• Demonstrate or prototype features to the Product Owner.
• Own, assign, follow, and resolve production issues.
• Identify and eliminate potential defects before production.
• Prevent defect leakage.

Requirements

• 5-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments domain.
• Strong understanding of the payment domain, including CASA and AMS.
• Knowledge of payment messages, such as SWIFT, ISO20022, and Pain formats.
• Familiarity with different clearing systems, including CHAPS.
• Temenos skills on the Arrangement Architecture (AA) are required.
• Understanding of agile practices, including scrum, user stories, slicing, story point estimation, and sprint planning.

Good to Have

• Good knowledge of payment products, such as CASA and Accounting.
• Familiarity with SFMS, NEFT, and RTGS.
• Experience with MTXXX formats.
