About the Role We are looking for a business systems analyst to support and optimize our NetSuite environment, serving as a bridge between finance and accounting stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves translating business needs into clear system requirements, driving process improvements, and ensuring NetSuite scales with the business. The analyst will be embedded in day-to-day financial operations while maintaining a systems lens on how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with finance, accounting, and operations stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements for NetSuite enhancements and new functionality
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Configure and maintain NetSuite features including saved searches, custom fields, forms, roles, and basic workflow adjustments
• Support system testing efforts including UAT planning, test case development, and defect tracking
• Serve as a subject matter expert on NetSuite processes, helping users resolve issues and improve how they work within the system
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and integration teams to deliver system changes that meet business needs
• Maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, and change history
• Support period-close activities by identifying and resolving system-related issues that affect financial reporting

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in a relevant field
• 2–5 years of experience as a business systems analyst or in a similar functional role, with direct exposure to NetSuite
• Working knowledge of core NetSuite modules including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets
• Ability to write and interpret saved searches and basic reports in SuiteAnalytics
• Strong requirements documentation skills
• Comfort working across both business and technical stakeholders, translating in both directions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams through to completion
• NetSuite experience across O2C, P2P, and R2R and demonstrated solid knowledge of functional/transactional currency and saved searches

Good to Have

• Experience with Zip or a similar procurement/purchase order management platform
• Familiarity with Salesforce-to-NetSuite integration processes
• Exposure to multi-subsidiary NetSuite environments
• Experience supporting or coordinating ERP implementations or major system upgrades
• NetSuite SuiteFoundation or ERP Consultant certification
