About the Role We are seeking an Observability Monitoring Engineer to operate and support a hybrid observability platform, ensuring performance and stability. The role involves working in a high-volume environment, managing and operating various tools and technologies, and contributing to the team's success. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in relevant technologies and a strong understanding of observability, incident management, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support a hybrid observability platform (On-Prem + Azure) including SolarWinds Orion deployment
• Handle network telemetry ingestion using Telegraf, including SNMP traps, syslog, metrics, and flow data
• Manage and operate VictoriaMetrics (TSDB) in high-volume environments, ensuring performance and stability
• Maintain and enhance Grafana dashboards for monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting
• Support alert workflows using Alertmanager with integration to ServiceNow
• Perform minor infrastructure updates in Azure using Terraform
• Build and manage containerized integrations (Python/FastAPI) on Azure Container Apps
• Work in Linux environments and contribute via GitHub workflows, PRs, and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• Have 10+ years of experience
• Possess strong hands-on experience in Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and SCM practices
• Have experience with AKS and/or Azure Container Apps
• Have a strong understanding of Azure services (Storage, Key Vault, Azure Policy, Networking)
• Have hands-on exposure to CI/CD architecture, release strategies, IaC patterns
• Have strong knowledge of observability, incident management, and performance tuning
• Have minimum 2+ years of experience in a banking/financial services environment

Good to Have

• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AZ-104/305/400, CKA/CKAD, Terraform Associate, CISSP/CCSP
• Exposure to policy-as-code, compliance automation, supply chain security
• Knowledge of service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), API gateways, zero-trust networking
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and log pipelines
