Full Stack Developer (Sr. & Jr.) Pune · FULL_TIME · HYBRID


About the Role We are looking for outstanding problem solvers who love working with data and are inquisitive and excellent with technology. They will be executing data projects that are varied in nature and demand a wide spectrum of skills from data manipulation through to data visualisation. The role involves developing and implementing systems to deliver quality data and process requirements for various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have an ambition to become an expert in applying modern technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement systems to deliver quality data and process requirements for various stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain web applications.
  • Understand requirements from the Business Analyst team and create technical design and solution design approaches.
  • Support the development of capabilities within the application as per business requirements.
  • Support application deployment workflows with internal and external stakeholders, including deployments into production.
  • Participate and provide inputs in technical review and planning meetings.
  • Involve in application performance improvements and security assessment, and fix identified issues.
  • Manage and adapt new technologies as per project needs and use.

Requirements

  • Have a numerate and/or computing background with strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience building scalable enterprise web applications.
  • Possess strong programming experience in Java 17+ with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, clean code practices, exception handling, and performance-aware development.
  • Have strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x.x, Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, dependency injection, configuration management, and secure service-to-service communication.
  • Have hands-on experience with JUnit 5 and automated unit/integration testing, with a strong focus on writing reliable, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Have experience working with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimisation, indexing, transactional consistency, and integration with backend services.
  • Have a good understanding of cloud-native delivery and deployment practices on GCP, including application hosting, configuration, monitoring, and environment management.
  • Have practical experience with GitLab, source control workflows, merge requests, CI/CD pipelines, and release/deployment processes.
  • Have hands-on experience with Docker for containerisation, local development, deployment packaging, and environment consistency.
