Guidewire INT and ClaimCenter Developer Bangalore, Chennai · Full-time · Hybrid
About the Role The Guidewire INT and ClaimCenter Developer will propose configuration solutions, estimate configuration effort, and configure various components in Guidewire Studio. The role involves working with Guidewire products, configuring InsuranceSuite, and performing unit testing. Success in this role requires experience with Guidewire products, programming languages, and software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose configuration solutions and estimate configuration effort required for user story requirements
- Configure screen layouts and create new screens in Guidewire Studio as needed
- Configure business rules and other business logic in Gosu
- Create form and letter templates and their supporting XML descriptor files
- Modify existing typelists or create new typelists
- Configure operational parameters such as roles and permissions, user attributes, regions, etc.
- Create and manage sample data
- Create new data model elements and extend the existing application data model with new properties
- Manage application configuration and perform minor/major software upgrades
- Perform unit testing and resolve defects
Requirements
- Hold a Guidewire Developer Certificate
- Have experience with XML
- Have experience programming with modern technologies such as JavaScript, Java, C#, or a similar programming language
- Be familiar with SQL
- Have the ability to debug software issues and resolve defects
- Have 7+ years of experience
- Be experienced and certified in Guidewire products being implemented
