About the Role This role involves manual testing of software applications, including mobile devices and web applications, to ensure quality and reliability. The successful candidate will be part of a team that develops and executes comprehensive test cases, identifies and reports defects, and communicates test results to stakeholders. Success in this role means delivering high-quality test results, effectively collaborating with the team, and contributing to the improvement of the software development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test cases that map to specific requirements.
• Perform manual and automated functional, smoke, regression, and integration testing.
• Identify, report, track, and retest bugs.
• Communicate test results, progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Diagnose and resolve defects independently by analyzing logs, code, and metrics.
• Act as the final decision-maker for releases based on test results, known issues, and platform stability.
• Coordinate emergency patches for critical plugin failures or breaking changes.

Requirements

• Have 6+ years of experience in manual testing, including mobile devices, web applications, or other relevant software.
• Understand requirements and develop detailed test cases.
• Be proficient in bug identification, reporting, tracking, and retesting.
• Have basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and test automation concepts.
• Have experience with testing tools and methodologies, such as Jira, TestRail, and Appium.
• Be familiar with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated changelog tools.
