About the Role We are seeking an experienced SFMC Developer to design and build multi-step lead journeys, develop personalized communications, and manage subscriber data. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to implement and manage WhatsApp communication use cases, configure Marketing Cloud Connect, and monitor journey performance. The role requires a strong understanding of Journey Builder, Data Cloud, and Service Cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build multi-step lead journeys in Journey Builder, including entry sources, decision splits, and exit criteria
- Develop personalized email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push communications using Content Builder and AMPscript/SSJS
- Implement and manage WhatsApp communication use cases, including Meta Business integration and message tracking
- Configure Marketing Cloud Connect to trigger contextual messages based on lead lifecycle events
- Manage subscriber data, data extensions, and segmentation logic within Email Studio and Contact Builder
- Build and maintain Cloud Pages for preference centers and consent capture
- Design and execute audience-based campaigns leveraging segments fed in from Data Cloud
- Monitor journey performance and deliverability, and optimize send times, content, and audience splits
- Configure and maintain Infobip integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Configure and maintain the Marketing Cloud – Data Cloud connector to receive enriched customer segments
- Design and maintain Automation Studio workflows to extract, transform, and aggregate engagement data
- Implement consent management workflows and ensure data consistency and compliance between Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proficient in Journey Builder and Automation Studio
- AMPscript and/or SSJS development experience
- Experience with Cloud Pages and form/consent handling
- REST/SOAP API integration experience
- Marketing Cloud Connect with Service Cloud experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Data stream configuration and segment activation experience
- Service Cloud experience (Leads, Cases, Platform Events)
- GDPR / consent compliance understanding
- SQL experience for data extensions
Good to Have
- Experience with mobile (MobilePush / MobileConnect)
