About the Role We are seeking a seasoned developer to contribute to the design and development of our next generation software, focusing on innovation and quality to deliver compelling user-facing products. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop efficient and reusable modules and libraries. Success in this role means delivering high-performance, compatible, and easy-to-maintain back end code.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Firmware Engineers, Front End Developers, and Back End Developers to deliver compelling user-facing products for our next generation software
  • Design and develop efficient and reusable modules and libraries
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and target systems
  • Write clean, fast, compatible, automation-test ready, and easy-to-maintain back end code
  • Participate in the full software stack, from low-level device interaction to customer-facing user interface
  • Contribute to the development of our next generation software

Requirements

  • Develop complex desktop applications for macOS and/or Windows with 5+ years of experience
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Modern C++, in particular features introduced in C++17 and beyond, with 3+ years of experience
  • Apply thorough understanding of Git-based source code control systems
  • Utilize cross-platform build tools, including CMake and Conan
  • Apply knowledge of software design techniques and patterns, and industry best practices
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have

  • Possess Python knowledge/experience
