About the Role We are looking for a Cognite Engineer to support the development, integration, and maintenance of industrial data solutions using the Cognite platform. The candidate will work with senior engineers to build data pipelines, perform data modeling, and help deliver reliable data solutions for business users. The role involves collaboration with technical and business teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines within the Cognite platform.
• Assist in data integration from various source systems into Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).
• Create and maintain basic data models, mappings, and transformations.
• Support data quality, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.
• Monitor and optimize ETL/ELT jobs for performance and reliability.
• Follow data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Document technical designs, workflows, and data processes.

Requirements

• Have 1–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Integration.
• Possess a basic understanding of Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) or similar industrial data platforms.
• Have experience with SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Know ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques.
• Understand cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Be familiar with Python for data processing and automation.
• Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

• Have exposure to industrial IoT, manufacturing, energy, or utilities domains.
• Have experience with APIs, data ingestion, and cloud-based data services.
• Know Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
