About the Role The IT Asset Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring governance and data accuracy in CMDB and ITSM systems. This role collaborates with various departments to align asset management practices with organizational goals, reporting to senior management. The goal is to ensure effective asset management, compliance with regulations, and strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an asset management plan for organizational assets.
• Ensure assets are maintained, repaired, and replaced as needed.
• Manage the acquisition, disposal, and transfer of assets.
• Update, analyze, and refresh the CMDB.
• Monitor and analyze asset performance, including utilization and costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards regarding asset management.
• Collaborate with departments to align asset management practices with organizational goals.
• Provide reports on asset management activities to senior management.
• Maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in asset management.
