Staff Cloud Engineer (Platform & Infrastructure) Hyderabad · Full-time · Hybrid
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud services, infrastructure as code, and configuration management. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that supports our business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures using AWS services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Load Balancers
- Build and manage multi-account architectures, Control Tower, and governance at scale
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Create and manage reusable and production-grade infrastructure modules
- Design and maintain Ansible roles and playbooks for application deployment, EC2 configuration, and database schema management
- Manage large and dynamic inventories across multiple environments using Ansible
- Design and implement hub-and-spoke architecture, multi-account connectivity, and hybrid networking
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement IAM design, SCPs, guardrails, and policy enforcement for secure governance
Requirements
- Have expert-level experience with AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53, and Load Balancers
- Have advanced experience with Terraform, including module design, remote state management, and scaling patterns
- Have experience with Terragrunt, including environment orchestration and DRY principles
- Have strong hands-on experience with Ansible at scale, including designing and maintaining Ansible roles and playbooks
- Have experience with pipeline design, approvals, and environment promotion strategies using GitHub Actions
- Have a deep understanding of routing tables, CIDR planning, and IPAM
- Have experience with IAM design, least privilege, cross-account roles, SCPs, guardrails, and policy enforcement
