About the Role The DLP Admin role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Data Loss Prevention solutions across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with business and IT teams to identify data protection requirements and translate them into security controls. The goal is to ensure compliance with data protection policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Data Loss Prevention solutions across the organization
• Configure and fine-tune DLP policies to protect sensitive data across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms
• Monitor DLP incidents, investigate alerts, and take necessary remediation actions
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify data protection requirements and translate them into security controls
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and gap analysis for data security processes
• Generate and maintain reports on DLP incidents, trends, and risk posture for stakeholders
• Support audit and compliance activities by providing required documentation and evidence
• Deliver awareness sessions and training programs on data protection and DLP best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for incident response and resolution

Requirements

• Have 4 to 10 years of experience
• Possess strong hands-on experience in DLP tools, with Microsoft Purview preferred
• Have in-depth knowledge of data classification, data governance, and information security frameworks
• Understand compliance standards, such as GDPR and ISO 27001
• Have experience in policy creation, tuning, and incident management
• Be proficient in business process analysis and recommending security improvements
• Possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Have experience in project management, including planning, execution, and reporting

• Certifications in Information Security, DLP, or Microsoft Security
• Exposure to cloud security and endpoint protection technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
