Job Title: Senior QA Engineer – Tungsten TotalAgility (Banking & Financial Services) Department: Quality Assurance & Testing Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer specializing in Tungsten TotalAgility (formerly Kofax TotalAgility / KTA) to join our Financial Services Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end testing of intelligent document processing (IDP), AI capture engines, and business process management (BPM) workflows across high-risk banking domains—including mortgage pre-condition review, loan origination, KYC/AML validation, and accounts payable. You will work closely with solutions architects, Tungsten developers, and business analysts to design robust test strategies, validate OCR extraction accuracy against strict SLA targets, test core banking API integrations, and ensure strict compliance with financial security and data privacy standards. Key Responsibilities

1. Tungsten Extraction & AI Model Benchmarking ● Design and run test cases to measure OCR accuracy, field-level data extraction, and Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates using golden sample sets of banking documents (structured application forms and unstructured bank statements, payslips, legal deeds). ● Test and validate Transformation Designer rules, extraction groups, locators, and AI/ML model thresholds to prevent high defect or miss rates.
2. Banking Workflow & Integration Testing ● Test TotalAgility business process maps, custom work queues, exception routing, and manual validation forms used by bank operations staff. ● Validate secure REST/SOAP API integrations connecting Tungsten TotalAgility with core banking systems, CRM databases, or downstream BPM engines to confirm customer data lookups and validation payloads function properly.
3. Financial Compliance & Security Validation ● Ensure automated document workflows comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and Information Security controls. ● Execute role-based access control (RBAC) testing, audit log verification, and data masking/redaction validation on sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
4. Test Automation & Defect Management ● Build, execute, and maintain test matrices, test plans, and automated testing scripts (using tools like Postman for API testing and Selenium for workspace UI/validation forms). ● Log, track, and re-test platform defects using Jira or Azure DevOps, conducting root-cause analysis alongside development teams. Required Qualifications & Experience ● Domain & Platform Experience: 4+ years of QA testing experience specifically with Tungsten TotalAgility (TTA / KTA), Tungsten Transformation Modules (KTM), or Tungsten Capture within a Bank or Financial Services environment. ● Intelligent Capture Knowledge: Deep understanding of document classification, table extraction, fuzzy logic, and tuning OCR confidence thresholds for high-volume financial ingestion channels (scanners, secure email, web portals). ● Technical Skills: ○ Proficiency in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. ○ Strong SQL skills to query underlying MS SQL Server databases for backend data validation, job state verifications, and user-tracking tables. ○ Experience with CI/CD tools and test management software (Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM). ● Methodology: Proven experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models with strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and performance testing strategies. ● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
