1. Position Requirements & Calibration

The meeting reviewed three priority hiring positions. Key skill expectations and experience criteria discussed are detailed below:

Priority 1: Essbase Developer / Technical Consultant (IC Role)

Role Type: Individual Contributor (IC) Core Technical Must-Haves: Outline building & dimension management Calculation scripting & MaxL scripting User Defined Attributes (UDA) Smart View integration SQL Skills: Basic SQL execution and query reading/updating capabilities. Complex SQL creation is not strictly required, but the candidate must be able to read existing queries and modify them as needed. Security & Administration: User and Security Management via Oracle Shared Services. Optional / Nice-to-Have: Oracle JET Administration (nice-to-have, as JET is not universally deployed). Domain / Industry Criteria: No specific domain or company profile restriction. Priority 2: Essbase Techno-Functional Lead / Manager / Architect

Role Type: Lead / Technical Manager (Team coordination focus) Experience Requirement: 15+ Years (Updated from 8–12 years) Core Technical Must-Haves: Deep techno-functional expertise in Oracle Essbase End-to-end architectural and implementation knowledge Leadership Criteria: Dedicated people management experience is not mandatory, provided the candidate possesses strong communication and team coordination skills to drive execution on the ground.
