Job Description

Experience - 3+ years

Key Responsibilities Data modeling and architecture (new, core focus)

Design and own scalable Qlik data models (star schema, snowflake, and concatenated/link-table approaches) that serve logistics and supply chain analytics across countries. Analyze source systems and their data structures, and translate them into optimized models that balance performance, accuracy, and usability. Resolve modeling challenges such as synthetic keys, circular references, cardinality issues, and slowly changing dimensions. Apply best practices in data layering (extract, transform, and presentation QVD layers), incremental loads, and model reuse to ensure a single source of truth. Define and maintain data dictionaries, naming conventions, and model documentation so that models are consistent and maintainable by the wider team. Partner with business users and data owners to ensure models reflect business logic, KPIs, and cost-to-serve definitions. Solution design and development

Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy analytical solutions in QlikView and Qlik Sense. Translate business requirements and technical specifications into scalable, well-structured solutions. Develop load scripts to ingest data from source systems, data feeds, and flat files. Build intuitive dashboards on top of well-designed models to support logistics decision-making.

Requirements Strong, hands-on data modeling expertise in QlikView and/or Qlik Sense, including dimensional modeling, handling complex associations, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Qlik scripting, set analysis, and dashboard design. Strong SQL and experience integrating multiple data sources and flat files. Experience with the full development lifecycle: requirements, build, testing, UAT, deployment. Ability to turn business needs into clear technical specifications and documentation. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users. Comfortable working in a global, cross-cultural team across time zones.

Nice to Have Experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain data models (e.g., shipments, orders, fleet, delivery, and cost data). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT tools. Familiarity with Qlik administration (QMC) or Qlik Cloud. Exposure to cost-to-serve, KPI frameworks, or real-time reporting.
