What we're looking for 5+ years hands-on Workday experience in a live tenant (configuration, reporting, or integrations).

Working knowledge of Workday HCM core and at least one adjacent module or the integration toolset.

Solid reporting skills; familiarity with the Workday security model.

Experience through at least one Workday release cycle.

Experience with other HCM systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP).

  1. Workday System Analyst Globant position: Process Optimization Analyst – Senior · Nearshore · Reports to Practice Lead / Consultant

About the role The System Analyst is the bridge between HR business processes and the Workday tenant. You own intake, requirements, process analysis, and testing coordination, and you continuously look for ways to simplify HR processes and improve how the team delivers.

What you'll do Own intake and triage of support tickets and enhancement requests; classify, prioritize, and route to the engineering team.

Elicit and document requirements from HR/business stakeholders; produce user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

Map and analyze current HR processes (hire-to-retire, payroll cycle, open enrollment, recruiting) and recommend process and configuration optimizations.

Coordinate UAT and release regression: test plans, test data, execution tracking, sign-off.

Track SLAs, ticket trends, and recurring issues; drive root-cause and preventive actions.

Maintain process documentation, training material, and the practice knowledge base.

Support the Practice Lead with delivery reporting and continuous-improvement initiatives, including AI-assisted intake and documentation.

What we're looking for 5+ years as a business/system analyst or HRIS analyst, with 3+ years working on Workday.

Strong understanding of core HR processes and how they are represented in Workday business processes and data.

Experience writing requirements, process flows, and test plans for enterprise HR systems.

Experience coordinating UAT and release testing; familiarity with Jira or ServiceNow.

Analytical, data-driven; comfortable with Excel and Workday reporting.
