FHIR Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated FHIR Engineer to join our Healthcare Interoperability team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing FHIR-based interoperability solutions supporting Coverage Requirements Discovery (CRD), Prior Authorization Support (PAS), and integration between enterprise care management applications, EHR systems, and FHIR platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality FHIR services and integrations.
• Support the successful implementation of CRD and PAS workflows.
• Ensure interoperability compliance and scalability.
• Collaborate effectively across architecture, product, QA, and development teams.
• Contribute to reusable and maintainable interoperability solutions.

Technical Requirements:

• Mandatory: Experience working on a FHIR Project is mandatory.
• Core Technical Skills: Entity Framework / ORM tools, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
• Database & Tools: Experience with SQL Server or other databases, and version control systems (Git).
• Foundational Knowledge: Strong understanding of design patterns (SOLID principles), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Cloud Platform: Familiarity with AWS is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools.
