Quick answer

Salesforce prices Agentforce usage in one of two ways. With Flex Credits, you buy credits at $500 per 100,000, and each standard action uses 20 credits ($0.10). With per-conversation pricing, each conversation costs $2. At those prices, 10,000 standard actions a month comes to $12,000 a year, while 5,000 conversations a month comes to $120,000 a year.

Worked examples

The same usage can cost very different amounts depending on the model, so here are both side by side.

Flex Credits

Flex Credits: 10,000 standard actions a month

$12,000/ year

  • 10,000 actions × 20 credits × 12 months = 2,400,000 credits a year.
  • Credits are bought in whole packs: 24 packs × $500 = $12,000 a year ($1,000 a month).
Per conversation

Per conversation: 5,000 conversations a month

$120,000/ year

  • 5,000 conversations × $2 = $10,000 a month.
  • × 12 months = $120,000 a year.

To try your own volumes, use the Agentforce cost calculator.

Rules and pitfalls

  • Credits are priced per 100,000, and the calculator counts whole packs, so small volumes still pay for a full pack.
  • Check with Salesforce how unused credits, usage above your entitlement and combining the two models are handled in your contract.

How much work a single action can do (for example, token limits per action) is not covered here because we have not been able to verify it on Salesforce's pages.

How to choose a model

One standard action costs $0.10 with Flex Credits, and one conversation costs $2: the price of 20 standard actions. So the deciding question is how many actions a typical conversation uses.

Fewer than 20 actions per conversation

Flex Credits usually cost less, before pack rounding.

More than 20 actions per conversation

Per-conversation pricing usually costs less.

Estimate usage for your main use cases before you commit, confirm with Salesforce which model your org can use, and revisit the choice as usage grows.
