Salesforce
migration guides

Moving to Salesforce, or moving within it, is mostly a data, design and adoption project. These guides explain how each move works, what the source system lets you export, and what has to be rebuilt.

How Techila approaches a migration

Techila is a Salesforce Summit Partner. Every migration follows the same five steps:

  1. Audit the source: objects, fields, automation, integrations and record counts.
  2. Design the Salesforce model and sign off the field-by-field mapping.
  3. Run trial loads in a sandbox and reconcile counts and sample values.
  4. Cut over in an agreed window with a rollback plan.
  5. Support users after go-live and retire the old system only after sign-off.

Frequently asked questions

Which guide should be read first?

The one that matches the system being left. For moves between Salesforce orgs, start with the org consolidation page.

Do these guides replace an audit?

No. They explain the process and the documented limits. An audit of the actual set-up produces the mapping and the plan.

Does Techila quote a duration or price from these guides?

No. Duration and cost depend on record volumes, automation and integrations, and are set after the audit.
