About Australia Post

Australia Post, formally the Australian Postal Corporation, is the government business enterprise that provides postal services in Australia. The head office of Australia Post is located in Bourke Street, Melbourne, which also serves as a post office.

Challenges

Australia Post came to Cloufi seeking to enhance the Field Service Lightning (FSL) functionalities, including creating dispatch board, custom notifications for FSL Mobile App, Warehouse management etc.

Solution

  • Created a Dispatch board for dispatcher to allocate driver a vehicle using Duty templates. We created Service Appointments and Work Order in the backend.
  • Created automation which will maintain the inventory in the warehouses across Australia
  • Due to different time zones in Australia, we were having issues in our custom implementation, so for that we created a Utility to have a correct time depending on certain parameters.
  •  We created automation to push custom notifications to mobile application for the Driver(Service Resource).

ROI

  • They used to distribute the duties on paper in the beginning of the day, also resources has to note down their duties in order to perform on the field. Due to this Dispatcher can do the distribution on a single UI.
  • All the Service Resources will be assigned to the Service Appointment using Dispatch board and Service Resource can see those in their mobile application.
  • Inventory was managed in papers which now is managing in Salesforce.
